Welcome to the
El Paso Bicycle Club

The El Paso Bicycle Club is a social group of recreational road cyclists. The club sponsers rides just about every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. If you seeking a group that shares your interest in cycling you will find friends in the El Paso Bicycle Club. Our rides are free and open the the public. Feel free to join us on one of our weekend adventures. For route maps and descriptions of some great rides in the El Paso area visit our Maps & Routes page. We do require all riders to wear certified helmets on all club rides, no exceptions.

Beginner and Intermediate Group

If you are just getting into cycling, want to learn more about the sport, or would like to meet new friends to ride with then the Beginner and Intermediate Group (B/IG) is for you.  The 2012 program kicks off on Thursday April 5th and will run through September. B/IG rides are designed to be both educational and fun.  Each week before the ride a different cycling related topic is presented.  Topics range from riding in a group (pace line) to bicycle maintenance and repair.  Riding skills are discussed and practiced while out on the ride that follows. The club will also hold at least one weekend distance ride every month specifically for BI/G riders. So join us every Thursday evening at Rio Plaza. Thursday evening programs begin at 5:50pm.

Membership

If you are interested in becoming a member of the El Paso Bicycle Club visit our Membership Page for registration options. Individual memberships are $18 per year. Family and two year memberships are also available. Active duty military and family members receive the first year free!
