Ride Start Times:

Road Markings Provided.
Route Maps provided for 100, 66, 50, and 34 mile routes. Included will be emergency numbers to call if assistance is needed.
Nourishing refreshments will be served at multiple rest stops along the various routes. Portapotties will be available at some stops.
SAG Service will be available as needed for mechanical or other problems.
Ride Descriptions:
10 Mile Route:
Incorporates the middle two of the four segments of the Rio Grande River Bike Path, includes one Rest Stop Safe for children. ALL CHILDREN 6 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER MUST HAVE AN ADULT OR OLDER SIBLING RIDING WITH THEM.
34 Mile Route:
Follows scenic valley roads to La Mesa and back on Hiway 28, includes two Rest Stops.
50 Mile Route:
Follows the 34 Mile Route, but continues to Snow Road from La Mesa, returning via HW 28. Includes three rest stops.
66 Mile Route:
Follows scenic valley roads to San Miguel, NM, then over to I-10 access road, joining HW 404 to climb Anthony Gap, 600 feet over 5.5 miles, then coast down for 10 miles of level riding, before climbing 950 feet over 4.2 miles to Transmountain Pass, drifting down hill then on level the final 8.3 miles. Includes three rest stops and several water stops. Time limit enforced, turn back at 1:00 P.M. at Anthony Gap Rest Stop.
100 Mile Route:
Begins with a 10 mile level loop then follows HW 28 to Old Mesilla and back to La Mesa, riding then over to the I-10 access road to follow the remainder of the 66 Mile Route at NM 227. Includes 4 rest stops and several water stops. Time limit enforced, turn back at 1:00 P.M. at Anthony Gap Rest Stop.

Check In/Registration:
Saturday, September 26, 5-8 PM at Hello Pizza, 1071 Country Club Road.
Sunday, September 27, 6-8:30 AM at Canutillo Middle School, 7311 Bosque Rd., Canutillo, TX.
Directions to Hello Pizza:
Take I10 exit 11 to Mesa Street, turn away from the mountain (West toward
Santa Teresa) road continues as Country Club Road after crossing Doniphan.
Continue for 2.5 miles to River Run Plaza on the right. 1071 Country Club Road.
Directions to Canutillo Middle School:
Take I-10 exit 6 to Loop 375 (Transmountain Dr.). Turn away from the mountain following the road till it ends at Doniphan. Turn right on Doniphan then left at the first stoplight (Sierra Quick Stop on right), Hiway 259. Once on 259 turn right at the first stoplight onto Bosque Road. The school is .6 miles on the left.
Parking available in front of and behind Canutillo Middle School building.
Burritos, Poor Boy sandwiches, chips, and drinks will be served at the ride's end, in the school cafeteria.
Longer Routes (100, 66, 50, & 34) Swept regularly by a SAG vehicle and motorcycle escorts. Flag one down if help is needed.

$25 per rider with a Ride T-Shirt.
$15 per rider without Ride T-Shirt.
Chile Pepper Challenge Socks are available for $10. One size fits all.
Day Of Event Registration T-Shirts and Socks will be available on a limited basis only.
Children under 16 ride for free (no T-Shirt) when accompanied by a registered adult, parent or guardian. They must register and turn in a signed release form.
Pre-registrations help us plan a better event and is much encouraged.
Richard's Cyclery (adjacent to Hello Pizza) will be open the evening of the pre-registration for your last minute shopping needs. He sells everything from patch kits to whole bicycles.
ANSI or SNELL certified helmet is required; flat tire repair tools (tube/pump) and water bottles are recommended. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the ride.
