A flat 28 mile route up the valley to the Anthony Country Club from River Run Plaza. Stop at the club and refuel on coffee, cookies and burritos before returning. Watch for stray golf balls flying over you head as you leave, a par 3 places the tee shot directly over O'hara Road.
From River Run Plaza head north on Upper Valley to Borderland, left on Stahann, to TX 259. Cross TX 259 and turn right (north) on to Bosque Road. Follow Bosque to Vinton Road. Turn left (west) on to Vinton Road and on it as it turns right at the stop sign, then left a short distance later and finally right again just past the goat farm. Continue on Vinton Road until the curve that turns into Greenwood Drive. Continue on Greenwood Drive to the stop sign at the intersection of Westside Drive. Turn right (north) on to Westside Drive, follow it to the stop sign at Washington Street (NM 225). Turn right on to Washtington Street and follow it across the Rio Grande, then turn left just past the bridge on Dairy Farm Road. Continue on Dairy Farm to the three way stop at the intersection with O'Hara Road. Continue straight through the intersection on O'Hara Road. Dairy Farm ends and this point and becomes O'Hara Road. Stay on O'Hara as you take a big turn left (west) and soon pass over the Rio Grande a second time. Just over the bridge will be the entrance to the Anthony Country Club.
Continue west on O'Hara Road to the intersection with NM 28 for the return ride. Turn left (south) on to NM 28. Continue on NM 28 to the three way intersection of NM 28, TX 259 and McNutt Road. Turn left (east) on TX 259 and then right on Gato Road, about 1/2 mile from the 3-way stop. Turn right (south) on Gato, then left (east) on Morill Road. Continue on Morill Road as it makes a big turns south to Cocula Road. Turn left (east) on Cocula then right (south) on Upper Valley Road. Continue on Upper Valley Road back to River Run Plaza.
