La Mesa is a small farming community about twenty miles north of El Paso’s Upper Valley on NM Highway 28. In addition to being a starting location, La Mesa is a popular destination or rest stop on the way to and from Mesilla. For rides departing from La Mesa please park in the Severino’s Restaurant parking lot away from the restaurant building (across from Eagle Grocery).
